SECOND ANNUAL DINKEY CREEK CAMPING TRIP It’s time again for the Spring Camping trip. A reservation has been made for the above dates. Everyone enjoyed Dinkey Creek last year so were going to do it again. We can have a maximum of 50 people so make reservations early. Surrounded by 10,000 foot-high peaks in the western Sierra, a series of alpine lakes feed into a small stream known as Dinky Creek. From its source high in the Dinky Lakes Wilderness, this soon not to be not-so-small creek flows 27 miles through rich forests and precipitous granite canyons, eventually to meet the North Fork Kings River in the oak-studded foothills of the Sierra Nevada. |

How To Get There
From Fresno, take Highway 168 east to Shaver Lake. Turn right at Dinky Creek Road and continue eastward to the Dinky Creek recreation area. Reservations are mandatory! |

The Hrvatski Sportski Klub of Los Angeles enjoyed it's Second Annual Spring Fishing Trip. The "Sport King" departed San Pedro California at 7 am, Sunday April 16, 2005 with 45 Croatian passengers, young and old. We fished all around Catalina Island and caught a variety of rock fish. The weather was crystal clear and the sea was flat. President, Petar Biscan organized a raffle on board with equipment donated by Ante Majic. Everyone caught fish, had a great time and are looking forward to another trip. |
