The Dalmatian American Club, corner of Palos Verdes and 17th in San Pedro, is holding a special fundraising screening of Brenda Brkusic's amazing film, Freedom from Despair. Come meet film maker Brenda Brkusic and see the film that's Croatia's "Big Fat Greek Wedding." Although Freedom From Despair is not a comedy, it is the story of all of us.
Admission is only $10, under 18 $5, not including drinks from the bar. Where else can you go watch a movie and have a glass of Merlot?
No reservation necessary. If more than 500 people show up we'll hold a second screening at 9:00 p.m.
