During the Croatian mass at 1:30 p.m., the Croatian Catholic Guild of the Mary Star of Sea Parish will be honoring father Ivica Babic who is going back to his homeland - Croatia.

This is our last opportunity to be with father Ivica and to thank him for all he has done in our community.

Delicious sweets will be served after the mass in the school auditorium. Everyone is welcome.

The Dalmatian-American Club of San Pedro along with the Croatian Cultural Center of Greater Los Angeles will once again be hosting their annual family barbecue picnic from Noon to 9:00 PM.

Traditional Croatian Food will be served, including: Barbecue lamb, pork, cevapcici, mostaciolli, Cole Slaw, homemade pastries and other goodies. The club is located on the corner of 17th and Palos Verdes Streets in San Pedro (1639 S. Palos Verdes Street). Admission is free and you may get "food to go."
The Yeseta Brothers Tamburica Orchestra will be performing throughout the day along with dancing music inside by Linda Pesic. "DJ Robi" will start playing in the early evening (around 6:00 PM) for the younger folks. Children will be entertained during the day with a free caterpillar/moon-bounce, games and contests. Plenty of free parking. Everyoune is welcome.
