POČINJE OBNOVA ŠIBENSKE BOLNICE 14.05.2008. — Ministar zdravstva i socijalne skrbi Darko Milinović obišao je - prema uvjetima rada - vjerojatno najlošiju bolnicu u Hrvatskoj, onu u Šibeniku. Posljednji slučaj koji je uznemirio javnost izvanredno je stanje na Odjelu za uho grlo, nos, koje traje već pet dana. Dogodio se kvar u sustavu tople vode, pa prijeti pojava zaraznih bolesti.
Milinović je najavio da obnova Odjela počinje odmah, a novac će biti osiguran iz državnog proračuna. "Dosadašnje procjene stručnjaka da Odjel može izdržati još godinu dana te plan da se obnovi iduće godine, bile su potpuno krive", smatra Milinović.
Dodao je kako ravnatelj bolnice i šef Odjela za uho, grlo, nos trebaju pripremiti natječaj i osigurati funkcioniranje Odjela dok radovi budu trajali. Projektna dokumentacija izrađena je već prije, a procjenjuje se da će cijeli projekt obnove stajati oko 4, 8 milijuna kuna.
Milinović je iza zatvorenih vrata održao i sastanak s Upravom šibenske bolnice, na kojem je bilo riječi i o izdvajanju bolnice u Kninu iz sastava Opće bolnice Šibensko-kninske županije. Procedura za osnivanje samostalne kninske bolnice, kako je kazao Milinović, već je u tijeku, te bi trebala biti dovršena do 5. kolovoza. Istaknuo je i kako je zadovoljan radom šibenske bolnice u protekla četiri mjeseca te je kazao kako je 80 posto ove bolnice u izvrsnom stanju.hrt.hr

SLAVEN BILIC I RAWBAU - VATRENO LUDILO
ZA MJESEC DANA POČINJE GRADNJA PELJEŠKOG MOSTA
11.05.2008. ZAGREB — Za najkasnije mjesec i pol dana intenzivirat će se radovi na gradnji pelješkog mosta. Počet će se betonirati ploča upornjaka, prvi stupovi od obale prema moru i ostalo - potvrdio je jučer dr. Jure Radić, direktor Instituta građevinarstva Hrvatske (IGH) i jedan od projektanata mosta, govoreći na tribini “Prometna budućnost hrvatskog juga” u organizaciji Društva Neretvana.
Iako javnost sumnjičavo prati razvoj događaja oko gradnje tog mosta, Radić smatra kako nema mjesta sumnjama. - Da, most se stvarno gradi i to maksimalnim intenzitetom - poručio je Radić te potvrdio i da je novac za gradnju mosta osiguran u proračunu.iscrpnije ... jutarnji.hr

NOVI DINAMOV STADION: PLAVI VULKAN Gradnji novog stadiona u Maksimiru na referendumu će se suprotstaviti Plavi vulkan arhitekta Hrvoja Njirića
02.05.2008. ZAGREB — Arhitekt Hrvoje Njirić proglašen je u srijedu pobjednikom natječaja za novi stadion na Kajzerici, koji će se Zagrepčanima za mjesec dana na referendumu ponuditi kao alternativa gradnji novog stadiona u Maksimiru. Ako se građani odluče za Kajzericu, Zagreb će dobiti Plavi vulkan koji će prema mišljenju stručnjaka biti nova ikona Zagreba.
Nakon tjedan dana ocjenjivanja 18 pristiglih radova, stručni se žiri jednoglasno odlučio za
Njirićev rad, koji je po originalnoj formi i jakom arhitektonskom identitetu odmah iskočio od ostalih.
- Njirićev rad izraz je izuzetno moćne arhitekture koja se uzdiže iz tla kao artificijelno vulkansko brdo te na futuristički način zatvara gledalište i stvara neponovljivu i nikad viđenu formu. PRODAJU VLASTITOG ZEMLJIŠTA SLUČAJNO OTKRILI NA INTERNETU 25.04.2008. ŠIBENIK — Josip Jaram je na internetu otkrio da 10 tisuća četvornih metara zemlje njegove obitelji prodaje agencija Etruria, a na nju se uknjižio Jerko Antolos
Obitelj Jaram iz Brodarice kod Šibenika obratila se DORH-u i USKOK-u kao, kako kažu, najnovija žrtva nezakonite rabote. Tvrde da je više od deset tisuća kvadrata njihova zemljišta nezakonito prodao zablaćki povratnik iz Amerike Jerko Antolos, čiji se otac Ive, navodno na zasad nepoznat način, davno uspio uknjižiti na Jaramovu djedovinu. Intrigantnu trgovinu otkrio je pukim slučajem Josip Jaram, sin Frane, jednog od navodnih vlasnika otuđene zemlje, krstareći internetom.
Slučajno je naletio na fotografiju s poznatim prizorom što ga je isprovociralo da pogleda detaljnije i saznaje da Etruria, agencija za promet nekretninama iz Zagreba, prodaje njihovu zemlju na Brodarici. Alarmira oca Franu i odmah odu u Zemljišnoknjižni odjel kako bi izvadili vlasničke papire i otkriju da je na njihovoj zemlji uknjižen Ive Antolos, pok. Ive iz Zablaća. CROATIAN GUITAR VIRTUOSO TO PERFORM IN CERRITOS
Robert Belinić was born in Zagreb, Croatia, and grew up in the nearby town of Popovača. He began to play the drums at age three, and when he was eight years old he starred in A Tale from Croatia, the first film released in the newly independent Croatia. He began classical guitar studies at the age of 11 in the music school in Kutina and he continued with Ante Čagalj in Zagreb. He graduated from the Leopold Mozart Hochschule für Musik in Augsburg, Germany, where he currently holds an assistantship and is doing postgraduate studies with Franz Halasz.
Acclaimed as “A genius, a poet, a super-sensitive musician,” on sandiego.com, Young Concert Artists will present Croatian guitarist ROBERT BELINIĆ’s New York concerto debut on April 29, 2008 with the Orchestra of St. Luke’s conducted by Michael Stern, as well as a solo recital in February 2008 at the Morgan Library & Museum. Keeping up with contemporary challenges, with which a distance learning Croatian language course (e-course) certainly is consistent, the Croatian Heritage Foundation is making an effort to, in the best way possible, meet the special needs of individuals and Croatian communities around the world. In order to organise this kind of course the necessary preparation has to be carried out, regarding both the IT and language framework and to conceive the method in which the course will be conducted. To achieve this kind of project, therefore, requires the cooperation of experts from various fields and from various institutions. In this regard the CHF is ready to launch initial discussions.

A Chilean-Croatian has brought Croatian kolo back to the Croatian Cultural Center! Pablo Sepulveda-Rosso was born in Antofagasta Chile and came to Los Angeles in 2007. Ever since he has been working on helping and educating fellow Croatians with information regarding Croatian folklore. Needless to say the Los Angeles area is extremely grateful to have Pablo in its community.
Pablo has a very interesting background with a lot of experience in folklore. Most recently, in 2002 Pablo received a scholarship from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Croatia and the Croatian Club Iquique in Chile to study folklore and Croatian Language in Croatia. While studying in Croatia Pablo danced in Folklorni Ansambl Turopolje under Tomislav Milicevic. Not only did he learn more about the dances but also how to sew Croatian Folk Costumes from Tomislav, who is well known in Croatia for that. more ... lac
POZDRAV SUNCU
Nakon već svjetski poznatih Morskih orgulja Zadar je postao bogatiji za još jednu urbanu instalaciju. Na Istarskoj obali na samom vrhu zadarskog Poluotoka, uz glasovite Morske orgulje, zasvijetlio je i Pozdrav Suncu istoga arhitekta Nikole Bašića.
Pozdrav Suncu sastoji se od tri stotine višeslojnih staklenih ploča postavljenih u istoj razini s kamenim popločenjem rive u obliku kruga promjera 22 metra. Ispod staklenih provodnih ploča nalaze se fotonaponski solarni moduli preko kojih se ostvaruje simbolična komunikacija s prirodom, s ciljem da se, kao i s Morskim orguljama, ostvari komunikacija - tamo sa zvukom, a ovdje sa svjetlom.iscrpnije ... tzgz.hr
MORSKE ORGULJE U NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC-u
National Geographic objavio je na svojim web stranicama dvominutni film o svjetski poznatim zadarskim Morskim orguljama i njihovom autoru, arhitektu Nikoli Bašiću, inspiriranog zvucima morskih valova koji udaraju o kamenu rivu.
